East Coast vs. West Coast
Join me in a little game I like to call “Pretend”. I have a very special person in my life that I am lucky to call family that lives in NYC. She has just found out that she is moving to Los Angeles with her fabulous boyfriend this summer. I am so excited for the two of them! I know they are in for some big changes but, I also know they will adapt beautifully. With that said, I often wonder if someone were to give me two houses to choose from that were either on the California coast or the New York coast, which would I pick?
First up is a home in Santa Barbara…
Next we go over to Bridgehampton…
Which house and coast would you pick?

Oh my…two such stunningly gorgeous homes! How could you pick or go wrong with either? Both great places for sure….but of course the California weather wins in my book everytime:)
I would take the first one in a heartbeat. Wow, that entry, the stylish yet traditional interiors and the pool – I LOVE IT. The other is beautiful too but I am a west coast girl so maybe that’s why. Great post!
Heather,
Both of those homes are stunning!!!!!!! What a great post.
I am saving a few of these pics to my computer in a file I keep for inspiration.
Back to the question: I would have to choose the West Coast because I cannot stand cold weather.
I am a baby and not very nice if it’s too cold outside.
Adding you to my blogroll also!!
Love love your blog and I appreciate all of your sweet comments more than you know.

I’ve never been to Bridgehampton but it looks fabulous. I should probably choose that house because I love the formality of the decor. But if I could choose any place in the world to live, Santa Barbara would be one of my top 5 picks. So it’s a no-brainer for me, the Santa Barbara home wins. Decor can always be changed but the location can’t. It was a fun exercise – thinking about which of these homes I’d rather make my own. Your blog is always one of the first things I open when I’m checking email. Thanks Heather!
New york new york!!! That house is amazing! Please check out the new blog now that I switched to WordPress
