Kitchen Nook Before & After

November 7, 2011

The first time we looked at this house we could barely make it through the entire tour. The smell was horrible and there was actual dog poop on the carpet in various rooms. Initially we planned on tearing the house down because it seemed so hopeless but, after an inspection where we were told the house was built very well and figuring out costs, we decided to renovate. We had the place gutted and knocked down some walls here and there.  New insulation, new drywall, all new appliances, flooring ripped out and concrete subfloors had to be treated and sealed to block odors several times, ceilings scraped, and the list goes on.

Here is the kitchen nook when we first walked through with a realtor…

On closing day when the previous owner had moved out…

Here is the kitchen nook now…

After a lot of going back and forth I am so happy we went with the Arteriors Versailles chandelier. It is one of the first things you notice when you walk into the house and it brings a lot of life to the space.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

The before and after pics just slay me!! Honestly, I don’t know how you and Jer kept your “vision” during all that demolition. Having seen the final product I can attest to how spectacular the renovation results are. P H E N O M E N A L !!!
