The “To Do” List Begins…

We are in our new home and are happy to be here. We have a lot of unpacking to do and a large list of items that need to be done in order to bring the house into 2012. As you can see in the photos below (listing photos), the house was built in the late eighties and needs help. The first items on our list are paint, replace white carpet with wood flooring and new door hardware. I am anxious to get to lighting but, I think I need more time to decide which direction I want to go.
This is going to be fun.

We are in a very similar situation, we have both moved into 24 + year old homes which need some updating, although I think mine may need more..lol! Your new home looks gorgeous! Such large flowing spaces & lots of nice architectural details…can’t wait to see more!
