Working with a Small Space
I really like this kitchen. It isn’t huge but, it is designed well. The refrigerator looks great being flush with the wall and the two windows up high add some natural light to the space.

Wood Flooring
After following Melissa’s wood flooring journey over at Veranda Interiors these last few months I am realizing how many choices there are in the matter but, for now the main choice I struggle with is a light, medium, or dark stain. I love the look of dark wood floors but, many friends have warned me that they show a lot of dust and footprints and with two dogs that may not be ideal. I really like the look of light wood flooring but, it is such a departure from what I have in my current home which is a in-between medium stain. What do you prefer?

Asheville Trip
I just found out that we are going to take a trip to Asheville, North Carolina in a couple of months. It will be my first time seeing the lovely city and I am super excited to finally tour the Biltmore!
So, of course I had to check out the beautiful homes on the market in Asheville. One that really stood out was a seven acre property with a Tudor home built in 1927 that has been renovated. I can just imagine having some amazing designers like the brilliant team of Tracery Interiors working their magic in this home and making it amazing!

I want you all to think of me Friday night when I am at the Duran Duran concert trying not to embarrass my husband and act like a huge dork. I am extremely excited to see them perform . I have been a huge fan since I was nine and of course I had a major crush on Simon and John. I can’t believe it has taken me this long to go to one of their shows. I am really looking forward to it!
