I am now fully addicted to Pinterest. I guess I am joining the game late but, I am having so much fun. There is so much inspiration out there and what a fun way to share these great images with each other! If you haven’t gotten onboard now is the time. If you have no idea what I am talking about Pinterest is a collection of photos that the member organizes onto boards. The photos can be anything from food to clothing, to weddings or interior design and so on. If you want to see what inspirational images I collect click on the “follow me” button on the right.
Now that you have seen the kitchen and the nook I thought I’d share a before and after view of the two from the living room. The living room was dark and had two walls separating it from the two areas. We took down those two walls which created one, big living space. I will share more photos in my next post of the living room redo.
Have a great weekend!
I decided that if I wait until the house is perfect and I have a professional photographer take pictures to share with you it will never happen so, I am going to share the pictures I have taken of the before, during, and after of our kitchen.
Here is the kitchen when we saw it for the first time when it was on the market…
Here is the kitchen during…
After…(We opted for the larger refrigerator/freezer because everyone kept warning us that we would need a lot of space to store food since getting to the grocery store is a bit of a hike. I still haven’t perfected the meal planning a week ahead.)
I hope you are enjoying the holidays!
I am so excited! I just got my new 30A Style book from Tracery today. I can’t wait to curl up on the sofa and take it all in.
Don’t forget to go to Tracery’s blog to enter for a chance to win before the twelve days of giveaways are over!
I am so excited! I actually won a giveaway! Tracery Interiors is doing 12 days of giveaways on their blog and I actually won 30A Style (a book I have wanted since its release back in spring). It is a coffee table book filled with images of beach homes and cottages in Florida along the Gulf Coast. I can’t wait to get it in the mail!
Thank you Tracery!!
I saw this wine room on a home tour last year. It was so pretty in person. I can imagine having friends over and enjoying a wonderful meal and some amazing wine in this room.
Here are some other rooms in that house…
We woke up to snow falling here in North Texas. It is beautiful watching the geese and ducks bobbing in the lake with snow falling on their heads. I hope you have a great week!
